Join us for another amazing FREE Jam in the Atrium with Bruce Phares, joined by acclaimed Brazilian pianist, composer, and 3-time Latin Grammy nominee Jovino Santos Neto and highly respected drummer Mark Ivester. Based in Seattle, Jovino is celebrated for his vibrant blend of Brazilian rhythms, rich harmonies, and adventurous improvisation, and has performed worldwide with artists including Hermeto Pascoal, Bill Frisell, and Paquito D’Rivera. Mark Ivester is known for his sensitive, versatile musicianship and has an extensive performance history spanning jazz, Latin jazz, big band, and more, with credits alongside artists such as Freddy Hubbard, Michael Brecker, and Diane Schuur. Expect an afternoon of dynamic, world-class music.
