Calling all young nature magicians! Join biologist and naturalist Adria for magical art-making inspired by the outdoors. Guided by a scientist, students will gather twigs, leaves, and other treasures to craft magic wands, then mix imaginative potions with flowers and herbs. We’ll build fairy houses from sticks and stones, paint rocks into tiny creatures, arrange nature mandalas with leaves and petals, and create sun prints using real sunlight. Along the way, children will discover fun facts about local plants and critters.
Late Start Arts: Creative Fun on PDD Fridays!
Fridays, Sept. 4–Jan. 22 | 9–10:30 a.m. (skip holidays and school breaks) | 16 Class Sessions
This series offers creative activities on Chautauqua Professional Development Days. Students meet at the Blue Heron at 9am and take the bus to school after class. Tuition includes $105 art and snack supplies. Homeschoolers are welcome!
