Whim W’Him returns for their Spring ’26 program with bold, emotionally charged new works by Rena Butler, James Gregg, and Olivier Wevers. Known for pushing boundaries and connecting deeply with audiences, Whim W’Him delivers another unforgettable night of innovative dance that speaks to the present moment.

Rena Butler brings a new work following her powerful 2020 dance film, “E=16-0163-TSX”, originally created during the pandemic on our WHIM-IN platform. She describes her new work as an exploration of dissecting the self and our shared humanity – how breaking ourselves down reveals the ways we reflect and intersect with one another. Her choreography invites us into this humbling, intricate process of self and communal discovery.

James Gregg, who first captivated Whim W’Him audiences in 2016 with his duet “Into you I go willingly”, returns to build on his bold and physical artistry. His latest creation promises the same intricate, emotionally charged movement but elevated by a decade of research and exploration.

Artistic Director Olivier Wevers offers a new creation that continues his ongoing investigation into human expression, connection, and transformation. His choreography continues to engage performers and audiences with meaningful queries and his ever-involving partnering exploration.
