Seattle Indian Health Board is opening the Thunderbird Treatment Center (TTC) on Vashon Island in July 2026 — a state-of-the-art residential treatment and recovery center offering culturally attuned services and programming for people seeking to heal from substance use disorder.

As we prepare for our opening, SIHB will host a job fair at the Vashon Center for the Arts:

SIHB is hiring for positions across health and human services, operations, and administration. Opportunities include substance use disorder professionals and trainees, mental health/ case managers, counselor aides, intake coordinators, environmental services, kitchen staff, IT, HR, billing, and more.

Attendees will learn about current TTC job opportunities, SIHB’s mission, our core competencies and our comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, retirement matching, and paid time off.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization at the forefront of addressing one of the most urgent public health challenges of our time. Interested candidates are encouraged to attend our upcoming job fair and submit their resumes.

Land Acknowledgment
Vashon Island is the traditional homeland of the sx̌ʷəbabš (pronounced Schwa-ah-babsh) people, a once thriving Native community decimated by colonization. VCA is committed to stewarding this land, fostering creativity, and honoring indigenous culture through the arts.

We celebrate diversity in all aspects of the work we do and support an environment of inclusion, racial equity, and social justice in our programming and operations. We welcome all individuals to our campus and steward them with respect and dignity.
