Guided by its mission to cultivate a deep appreciation for chamber music through exceptional performances in welcoming and accessible formats, SCMS connects audiences with some of today’s most celebrated artists.

This special program features two beloved masterpieces of the string quartet repertoire—Dvořák’s joyful “American” Quartet and Beethoven’s Op. 18 No. 1—alongside Dohnányi’s lyrical Serenade for String Trio. Performed by an all-star ensemble including James Ehnes, Tessa Lark, Amy Schwartz Moretti, Che-Yen Chen, Milena Pajaro-van de Stadt, Edward Arron, and Ani Aznavoorian, this concert offers a rare opportunity to experience extraordinary chamber music up close, right here on Vashon Island.
