Vashon Center for the Arts & Vashon Chorale Presents
Mozart Requiem in D Minor

Vashon Center for the Arts & Vashon Chorale present Mozart Requiem: 9/11 Memorial Concert, a powerful afternoon of music, remembrance, and hope in commemoration of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

Mozart’s Requiem is one of the most profound and moving works ever written—an unfinished masterpiece that continues to speak across time with beauty, grief, and transcendence. For this special tribute concert, Vashon Chorale will bring the work to life with Island-based soloists and instrumentalists, offering audiences a shared space to remember, reflect, and be lifted by the power of music.

Inspired by the “Rolling Requiem” tradition established in the year following the attacks, this concert honors the past while carrying forward a message of connection, resilience, and hope for a more peaceful future.
