Jam in the Atrium
with Josh Rawlings on Piano
and Alexey Nikolaev Saxophone

Join us for The Jam in the Atrium on Sunday, July 5 from 1–3pm, featuring bassist Bruce Phares with special guests Josh Rawlings on piano and Alexey Nikolaev on saxophone.

This afternoon of live music brings together an extraordinary trio of Northwest musicians for a relaxed, high-caliber jam in the VCA Atrium. Josh Rawlings is a GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum award-winning recording artist, composer, and pianist whose career includes touring with Macklemore and Allen Stone, performing with Industrial Revelation and The Teaching, and appearing at major venues and festivals including Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Bonnaroo, Benaroya Hall, and more.

On saxophone, Alexey Nikolaev is one of the Northwest’s most sought-after live and studio players. Since moving to Seattle in 2000, he has become a leading voice in the regional jazz scene, performing with Greta Matassa and previously collaborating with Bruce Phares in the Bruce Phares/Jeremy Bacon Quartet. This performance marks a special opportunity to hear Alexey and Bruce reunite for the first time since those years together.

Come enjoy an afternoon of exceptional musicianship, improvisation, and community connection in the heart of VCA.
