This afternoon of live music brings together an extraordinary trio of Northwest musicians for a relaxed, high-caliber jam in the VCA Atrium. Josh Rawlings is a GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum award-winning recording artist, composer, and pianist whose career includes touring with Macklemore and Allen Stone, performing with Industrial Revelation and The Teaching, and appearing at major venues and festivals including Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Bonnaroo, Benaroya Hall, and more.
Raised in the northwest, Saxophonist Darian Asplund has dramatically emerged onto the NW music scene, contributing fresh sounds and exciting ideas, playing with moments of warmth, intensity, suspense and passion. A sought-after member of many regional leading bands, notably Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Michael Shrieve of Santana, Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra, Jim Knapp Orchestra, Tim Kennedy, Darrius Willrich, Lee Oskar (WAR) and more.
