Language, Crafts, Food & Cultural Traditions

Come discover, create, taste, and celebrate Japan with us in a fun and immersive setting at Mukai Farm & Garden! Dress in traditional attire like yukata, learn basic Japanese characters, and build vocabulary naturally through interactive games, songs, and hands-on crafts in our bilingual environment. Enjoy cultural activities such as origami, calligraphy, indigo dyeing, fan decorating, scroll painting, and celebrating Tanabata (the Star Festival) with bamboo and handmade decorations. We’ll also explore Japanese cuisine by making shaved ice, rice flour sweets, and rice balls.

If you plan to apply for financial aid for this class, you must complete and submit the financial aid application no later than 2 hours after you register.
