Ian Moore’s Acoustic Homecoming: A Night of Family, Song, and Soul

Beloved singer-songwriter Ian Moore takes to the Katherine L. White Hall stage with a one-of-a-kind acoustic performance that marks a deeply personal and musical milestone. After relocating to the Vashon Island, Ian stepped away from his electric guitar and Austin-based blues and soul to fully immerse himself in songwriting—diving into the deep end of a more introspective, unique sound.

To his longtime fans in the South, this shift marked a surprising evolution. But for those who first encountered Ian through Pacific Northwest and island gigs, this acoustic songwriting style has become his signature voice.

Having shared this more intimate sound with the Vashon community for many years, Ian now brings his Acoustic Homecoming show to the Pacific Northwest for the very first time. He will be joined by two of Austin’s most acclaimed musicians, Bukka Allen and Warren Hood—longtime collaborators and masters of the craft.

This special evening also features a once-in-a-lifetime moment: Ian performing alongside his children, Levi and August, as they share the stage as a family for the first time. The concert promises rarely performed gems from Ian’s catalog—songs he considers among his very best—brought to life in a setting that celebrates both musical kinship and familial love.

Rooted in the place he now calls home, this performance offers a heartfelt, unforgettable experience—one that could only happen here on Vashon Island.

“This show is something I’ve never done before—sharing the stage with my family and closest musical friends, playing songs that mean the most to me, in the place where I’ve built my home. It’s a rare and powerful moment I can’t wait to share with this community.”- Ian Moore

“If you're a fan of the blues/rock genre, quality songwriting or just fiery guitarists in general, Ian Moore should already be on your radar."—David Nowels, American Highways

“Seeing Ian Moore is somewhat of a spiritual experience....melodic, sexy, soulful and bluesy, gospel-heavy, all the while maintaining the infectious guitar vibrato, he’s become known for."—Cory Weaver, Bands Through Town
