Learn to make jewelry from VHS jewelry teacher Kate Dunagan. Using silver, brass, and copper, beginners learn to make jewelry components and join them together. Saw metal shapes, add texture, file the edges, and sand and finish the surfaces then use a torch to solder the pieces together. Cold-joining techniques can be used for moving parts. Return students refine their soldering skills and learn new techniques, including bezel-setting stones. No previous experience needed.
