Davide Sciacca: A Guitar at the Opera
Classical guitarist Davide Sciacca presents an intimate recital exploring the meeting point between opera and guitar. Centered around the music of Vincenzo Bellini — the great Sicilian opera composer from Catania — the program features lyrical transcriptions inspired by Norma, alongside works by Italian, Spanish, and contemporary composers.

Performed on a guitar inspired by an 1864 Antonio de Torres, built by fellow Catanese luthier Flavio Alaimo, the concert weaves together melody, virtuosity, and cultural roots in a warm and engaging musical journey.

A Guitar at the Opera is conceived as both a concert and a storytelling experience: an evening where opera, guitar, and cultural roots meet in an intimate and engaging musical dialogue.
