Jam in the Atrium
with Isaiah Bravo on Drums
and Roman Goron on Piano

Join us for a special Jam in the Atrium on Saturday, August 2, from 1–3pm, with jazz bassist Bruce Phares, featuring rising jazz artists Roman Goron and Isaiah Bravo.

Roman Goron is a French-Filipino-American jazz pianist and composer currently studying at The Juilliard School in New York City. Raised between Paris and Seattle, Roman brings a rich, multicultural perspective to his expressive musical voice and has earned recognition as a Jacksonville Jazz Piano Competition winner, 2025 Yamaha Young Performing Artist, YoungArts Jazz Piano Finalist, and four-time DownBeat Student Music Award recipient.

Joining him on drums is Isaiah Bravo, a rising jazz musician from Kissimmee, Florida, also studying at The Juilliard School. With roots in a Puerto Rican musical family and a passion for rhythm that began at age three, Isaiah has performed through top jazz programs including Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Essentially Ellington, Carnegie Hall’s NYO Jazz, and the JAS Academy, and has worked with some of the most respected names in jazz.

Together, Roman and Isaiah bring the energy, artistry, and fresh perspective of the next generation of jazz to VCA’s Atrium.

The Jam in the Atrium is made free to the public by our generous sponsors
JR Crawford and Flintworks and your contributions.
