As our organization and our audiences have grown, and as technology has advanced, an upgrade to our ticketing software was in order! Thanks to much input, we have chosen Spektrix as our new ticketing software system. Please note, this is separate from our new class registration software.
Below, we’ve answered a few Frequently Asked Questions, but if you don’t find the answers you’re looking for, our box office is happy to help! You can email us at boxoffice@vashoncenterforthearts.org call our friendly Box Office staff at 206.259.3007 or visit the Box Office in person, Wednesday through Sunday, 12pm – 5pm.
All patrons will need to create a new login upon first time purchases. How? Simply enter your current email address and create a password. Once created, you’ll have access to your previously purchased tickets and be able to begin purchasing tickets for upcoming performances.
Is my personal information secure in this new system?
Yes. Spektrix is certified to ISO 27001 and ensures regulatory compliance.

Friendly but important heads-up: ticket scams are out there, and they move quickly. A simple web search can send you to a fraudulent reseller—often charging double or triple and selling tickets we cannot honor.
Here’s how to buy safely (and confidently):
Purchase only through VCA: our website, by phone, or in person at the VCA Box Office.
Avoid third-party platforms and individual resellers. VCA will only recognize tickets purchased by the ticket holder directly from us.
Watch out for search ads and look-alike sites. If a link isn’t clearly VCA, don’t click.
Double-check the details. Prices that seem unusually high (or too good to be true), vague seat info, or pressure to “buy now from a partner” are red flags.
Keep your confirmation. Save your order email and reference number from VCA.
