It’s Late on Vashon | Episode V

The fifth installment of Vashon Center for the Arts’ in-house late-night-talk-show-ish thing, “It’s Late on Vashon(iLOV)” will be livestreamed Monday November 2nd at the ungodly late hour of 9pm. Art History Talk with Rebecca Albiani – Kehinde Wiley

Kehinde Wiley, best known for the official presidential portrait of Barack Obama, established his career painting young African-American men in the poses of canonic works of Western art. Using his "street casting" technique to find models, Wiley travels the world to create big, bold portraits of people of color.
