- a sharpie marker
- a pencil (this pencil is different than the one Bruce mentions in the video – oops – that’s okay!)
- 6 sheets of newsprint
- 6 sheets of 11×17 paper
- 10 sheets of 8.5×11 paper
- 1 poster board
Please check out the videos below. If you have any questions reach out to your classroom teacher. Have fun!
Introduction to birds in art and your materials.
First steps of drawing – shapes, silhouettes, and Bosco!
(when you trace your bird, try placing a printout on a window!)
Next steps, more shapes, and Baysha!
Draw the easy stuff first.
Bosco returns. Smaller shapes, dimensions, and details.
Review adding details. Now make it bigger!
Working BIG! Drawing on newsprint – then poster board!
Filling in the important lines with sharpie.
Remember to find an okay place to have watercolor paints out.
