VCA Covid Protocol

The health and safety of our audience members, artists, students, staff and volunteers are important to us. Vashon Center for the Arts’ Covid Protocols are defined in accordance with current conditions to maximize individual and group health. We will continue to assess our Covid Safety protocols as we monitor the changing guidelines from local government agencies as well as in our own community, and adjustments will be made to respond most appropriately to Covid-19 conditions as they change.

If you are experiencing any Covid-like symptoms, please stay home! We thank you for your patience and understanding.

As of June 1, 2022, Proof of vaccination OR negative Covid19 test will no longer be required.

Facial masks will continue to be required for ticketed and seated events in the Theater and Atrium to further prevent the spread of Covid19 and provide a measure of safety to our performing artists and audience members. VCA reserves the right to remove a patron from an event if they are unwilling to follow our current Covid Safety protocols. When concessions are offered for purchase, masks may be removed briefly to consume beverages. Please don’t forget to mask up when you’re done sipping your beverage so we can continue to offer concessions during performances. If you are unable to comply with our current protocols, we ask that you refrain from attending events in-person. We will continue to provide FREE livestream broadcasts as often as possible, with permission of performing artists. We encourage you to check out our previously recorded broadcasts that are made available for viewing on our VCA TV page here. You can watch for FREE or make a donation to help support our continued efforts to bring the arts to all.

Ticket sales are non-refundable unless Vashon Center for the Arts must postpone or cancel an event. Should that occur, our Box Office staff will contact ticket holders directly.

Facial masks are strongly encouraged but are not required when visiting our gallery spaces to view the latest art exhibit. Proof of vaccination is not required for viewing art in the Gallery.

For students attending Arts Education or Dance classes in the Blue Heron Education Center, please visit the BHEC Covid Safety protocols page here for full details.
