4^th Annual Holiday Gingerbread Contest

Dust off your baking talents and frosting skills! Vashon Center for the Arts invites you to submit your sweet creations to the 4^th Annual Holiday Gingerbread Contest. We’ll be putting entries on display for all to enjoy starting November 30th! Islanders are invited to come by Nov 30 through Dec 23 and vote for their favorites! Winners of the popular vote will receive Vashon Thriftway gift cards.

This year we’re adding a new category just for kids! Prizes will be awarded for BEST VASHON LANDMARK, BEST IN SHOW, MOST TRADITIONAL, and BEST YOUTH DESIGN.  Once the votes are counted, winners will be announced and contacted on December 23.

Gingerbread Contest Rules:

All Gingerbread Houses MUST be 100% edible.

All entries must have a solid cardboard base for stability.

Full name of creator(s) must be written and visible on the cardboard base.

Submissions must be delivered to VCA on Wednesday, November 29 between 12-5pm.
