A Streetcar Named Desire serves up two unforgettable characters, Blanche DuBois and Stanley Kowalski. Truth unravels the masquerade of a former life and the resulting descent into madness makes for an unforgettable performance. André Previn’s jazz-inspired score perfectly captures the sultry underworld of New Orleans. A masterpiece of American opera.
