Writing Lab: Hybrid Fiction

Writers are frequently told: Write what you know. Hybrid narratives turn this idea on its head, where writers become gatecrashers. In this process writer’s lab, we will explore the ways in which hybrid narrative blends and blurs the line between fiction, non-fiction, poetry & essay. Students will create in-class work, inspired by authors whose speculative pieces are alternately driven by ideas, structures and voice.
