Make your very own upcycled prom dress or formal-wear outfit using existing thrifted dresses, suits, and clothing items. No new materials will be harmed in the making of your formal-style outfit! Learn the tips and techniques Tesse utilizes in her Sustainable Bridal business and apply them to your own upcycled formal design. Tesse will take you through the process of custom designing your fit, researching designers past and present to inspire you, and evaluating garments to cut up and remake into your dream formal-wear fit. Basic sewing skills helpful, but not necessary. Sewing supplies provided. Bring your own machine, if you have one. Tesse Crocker is a professional bridal seamstress and costume designer who owns Luna Bella’s Consignment Clothier, Vashon’s sartorial choice for secondhand clothing!
