Launched over a decade ago by longtime faculty member Vanesa Wylie and former Dance Director Christine Juarez, Original Works was created to give space and celebration to the incredible minds and movements of VCA’s student body, community professionals, and dancers from additional island dance studios.
This year we are delighted to present new works by current VCA students, alumni, and faculty in addition to Vashon Dance Academy faculty and Seattle dance professionals! Witness an evening of contemporary, modern, ballet, jazz, lyrical, and tap, strung together and steeped in that brilliant light of new minds and work!
