Take a journey in a magic time machine and explore different cultures and eras through story, drama and creative art projects. Visit ancient Greece in 620 BC to hear Aseop’s “Grasshopper and the Ant”, a lesson about hard work and compassion. Then off to 1800 Ghana to meet “Anansi”, the mischievous spider, who uses wisdom and love to triumph over danger. Students will help decide where the time machine heads next! Sue Wiley has written, directed and produced plays for kids for over 20 years: Gerie Wilson is an award-winning teacher who co-created the multiage, theme based learning program at Chautauqua.

Plan to arrive at the Blue Heron between 8:30–9:00 am on PDD late start mornings and the Chautauqua bus will transport kids to school at 11:30 am. Fee includes snack and art supplies. Late Start Arts is open to homeschoolers as well.
