Join us for this low tech, high magic camp that covers all aspects of making a puppet show! Develop a story and script using collaborative writing techniques, then construct props & puppets by drawing, painting, sculpting, paper-mache, and cardboard construction. Puppet performance skills will be developed through improv exercises, theater games, and play, shifting into rehearsals to create a show with soundscape and original music created by the students. Perform for friends and family at the end of the week! Students will create at least one puppet to take home.
