Combine scientific observation with creative expression in this dynamic, multidisciplinary camp. What does the health of a tree, a river, the air tell you about your own health? What might the quality of your health (or that of someone in Wuhan, China or Flint, Michigan) tell you about the health of the rivers, the trees, the air and creatures who share this planet? These questions will provide rich inspiration for student understanding of systems science, as well as inspiration for a variety of creations, from writing and sculpture to movement games and music-making. Incorporate hands-on science at Vashon beaches and stream locations with Vashon Nature Center staff.
