Join Alisara Martin for this outdoor camp with COVID-safe protocols in place. Ready to take your figure and gesture drawing skills to the next level? Want to turn your sketches of figures, people and original characters into polished pieces? Strengthen your observational drawing skills by working from live models, pre-recorded video, and still photos. Learn techniques to understand proportion, to show the drape of clothing and evoke the feel of movement. In this outdoor class you will build your artistic community and your technical skill. The camp warms up with gesture drawing and learning more about how to capture the figure. You will progress from drawing from photographs and video to capturing the characters and poses of models who join our streaming class. By the end of camp you will have a portfolio of drawings and feel more confident about drawing the human form.
