For the 14th consecutive year, Vashon Center for the Arts will host our annual Miniature Show which opens Friday, December 4, 2020 with extended Gallery hours from 12:00noon – 7:30pm
The style of the miniaturist is as unique as the artist, includes all the elements of art forms: line, composition, color and balance – plus the challenge of executing it in only a few inches. The only rule – the art must be under 36 square inches or 36 square inches for three-dimensional work.
This show is one of the largest miniature shows we’ve had, exhibiting 89 artists including artists from Vashon, Seattle, Redmond, Mercer Island, Portland, and Edina, Minnesota.
