ARTIST STATEMENT: MARC PEASE
Marc Pease has been painting his entire life usually for enjoyment, relaxation, creativity and reward. Beginning in water color/pen and ink he transitioned to the encaustic art process about 10 years ago and has been satisfied immensely with the possibilities in working with wax and this particular art process.
ARTIST STATEMENT: CAROLE MERIAM
Carole Meriam says “When I retired from work, I enrolled in a painting class with a local artist.
Soon after that, I began painting pet portraits on a commission basis. Since then, I have painted many kinds of pets…dogs, cats, crows, a horse and a rooster! Many have purchased a gift certificate to give as a birthday or wedding gift. When I have time, I paint for myself and enjoy creating landscapes.”
